Ways to Give

With the help of generous support from individuals, businesses, and foundations, we are able to fulfill our mission to improve communication independence for life.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Columbus Speech & Hearing is committed to providing the highest quality care in a client-focused environment. Charitable donations allow us to provide critical services to those in the community who would not otherwise be able to afford them.

Planned Giving Options

What is Planned Giving?

You can include our nonprofit, Columbus Speech & Hearing, when planning your legacy.

A planned gift is the commitment of a future donation. Types of planned gifts include a simple bequest made in a will, naming our organization as a beneficiary in a life insurance policy, an IRA rollover or stock gift.

Columbus Speech & Hearing welcomes planned gifts.

When you share your intention to make a planned gift to Columbus Speech & Hearing, our leadership team can:

  • Thank you and recognize you during your lifetime
  • Communicate with you about the impact you will have on our mission
  • Discuss whether you would like to designate your planned gift for a specific program or department

Planned gifts that arrive without a signed gift agreement fuel our mission by funding general operating expenses. The Development Team welcomes a confidential discussion about designating your planned gift for a specific department or program.

If you would like to discuss ways your planned gift would make a future impact, email resourcedev@columbusspeech.org.

Your Gift Can Support Kids like Oliver

Your charitable gift helps someone like the Rao family. Ten years ago, Baby Oliver Rao had just failed his newborn hearing screening. The Rao family faced a frightening diagnosis of hearing loss and an impossible price tag for hearing aids.

Our clinicians were patient and kind, and coached the Rao family to apply for a grant in order to successfully put Baby Oliver in his first hearing aids. Most importantly, the clinicians helped mom navigate fears so that the Rao Family could focus on their hopes for Baby Oliver’s future.

Our clinicians and client families could tell you hundreds of success stories like this one. Today, we’re asking for you to invest in hope for the future.
