We are seeking a self-motivated and collaborative individual to fill the role of Corporate and Community Relations Coordinator at Columbus Speech & Hearing. The Corporate and Community Relations Coordinator connects a community of support to Columbus Speech & Hearing by managing the organization’s corporate sponsorships, motivating volunteers on event committees to fundraise with us, and leading patient family engagement efforts in support of fundraising goals as part of the Development Team.
Primary Job Responsibilities

- Manage a portfolio of corporations in collaboration with the Director of Development.
- Execute each prospect’s moves management strategy, in effort to convert these prospective relationships into sponsors or donors.
- Solicit corporate prospects to become sponsors or donors via face-to-face meetings, event invitations and various ongoing communications.
- Recruit, motivate, train and manage volunteer relationships in support of events and outreach.
- Lead 4-6 patient family engagement events and one community fundraising event annually in collaboration with Development Team and volunteers.
- Enhance our funding applications to corporate foundations in collaboration with the Grants Manager.
- Research and generate leads for new funding prospects or partners for the organization.
- Create and adhere to project budgets related to corporate outreach and events in close collaboration with the Director of Development.
- Build relationships with internal staff in support of events, corporate partners and patient family engagement.
- Record prospect-related activity in CRM database in support of moves management strategies.
- Provide excellent donor stewardship and communication as part of a collaborative team.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- At least two years of fundraising or volunteer management experience.
- Candidates should possess excellent oral, written and presentation skills and be computer literate.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. Must be able to lift and carry up to 35lbs on occasion.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This position is held in an office setting. Regularly using phone, fax and email. This role requires being out of the office, in the community for the purposes of meeting with potential sponsors, donors and committee/volunteers.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a hybrid position. First 30 days will be in-person. This is a full-time exempt position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day.
