James O. Dye, Columbus Speech & Hearing President & CEO, has been elected President of The National Association of Speech & Hearing Centers (NASHC), a consortium of 50 community-based, not-for-profit speech and hearing centers across the United States. With a mission to enhance access to speech, language, and hearing services, NASHC’s members serve more than 150,000 individuals annually, providing over 725,000 services and dispensing 20,000 hearing aids, many to low-income individuals.
James Dye, as President, will be responsible for facilitating discussions among member CEOs to share resources and best practices. He will also provide updates on any legislative developments that may affect the industry and offer advice on taking collaborative action to ensure that Speech & Hearing Center’s views are heard. Additionally, he will establish relationships with partner organizations to advance collective efforts.
James Dye’s leadership will carry on the NASHC organization’s mission to assist its members in achieving improved accessibility of Speech & Hearing services in their communities.
